The Mt. Soledad Memorial Association is a nonprofit organization that greatly depends on the time and talents of a large volunteer corps. We invite you to join us! We have a need for volunteers to work at the Memorial and at the Association office. Our volunteers have found their “work” on behalf of our veterans to be a most rewarding experience!
- Docents work at the Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial, introducing visitors to the Memorial, and highlighting individual plaques and the stories told on the walls. Docents participate in a training program and are asked to commit to a schedule of a minimum of four hours, one day a week.
- Office Volunteers assist the Association in a number of capacities, including but not limited to, clerical assistance, phone reception, maintaining membership records, assisting in mailings, plaque design, data entry, social media and photography. Office volunteers are asked to commit to a schedule of a minimum four hours, one day a week.
