SERGEANT ROSS FRANKLIN GRAY
KIA 27 February 1945
Sergeant Gray was awarded the Medal of Honor for gallantry above and beyond the call of duty in action against enemy forces on Iwo Jima on February 21, 1945. Sergeant Gray was killed by an enemy shell in a subsequent action on February 27, 1945.
