The Jedburghs, who parachuted into enemy occupied terrority in 1944 in France and in the Netherlands, armed more than 100,000 young resistance members whom they later led into combat during the liberation fights. Risking their life, they indeed played a major role in defeating the NAZIS, forming a force equivalent, according to general Eisenhower, to ten Infantry Divisions. These 300 heroes were American, British, Belgian, Canadian, French and Dutch volunteers. Here are the names of the 91 Americans. France and the Netherlands are deeply thankful to them and will remember them eternally.
