Joe Burns served as Flight Engineer-Top Turret Gunner aboard B-17 "Lopn' Lobo" 401st Bomb Group-613th Squadron. Shot down over Europe, he survived torture and starvation as a POW. Joe also survived the 90-day Black Death March.
