John was a Technical Sergeant Radio Operator on a B-24 Liberators. He flew 30 missions in the European Theater out of Halesworth, England. His first plane was CoverGirl, B-24 in the 489th Bomb Squadron, 93rd Bomb Group. Medals – 5 Battle Stars, 4 Oak Leaf Clusters.
