Silver Star

Steve served 2 tours in Vietnam. The first as a paratrooper with a five man 101st Airborne Long Range Reconnaissance Team and made more than 50 missions behind enemy lines. The second tour was with the 128th Assault Helicopter Company "Gunslingers" as a door gunner on a Huey Gunship. He flew more than 2000 Combat Assault hours over hostile territory in support of Special Forces operations.
