Specialist 4th Class Pieson proudly served witht he 194th Military Police Company, 1st Signal Battalion. He was at the 1st Signal Brigade signal site north of Saigon in Niu Ba Dien, close to Tay Ninh in Tay Ninh Province, RVN on bunker guard duty when a grenade detonated.
