Larry was drafted into U.S. Army Nov. 1966. Was sent to Vietnam in July 1967. He was with the 58th Transportation Co. as a Heavy Vehicle Driver hauling supplies in Vietnam. He served with pride and dedication, earning a Meritorious Unit Citation for hauling supplies in combat from Qui Nhon to Pleiku.
