Technician 5th Grade Swisher served with the 555th Antiaircraft Battalion known as "The Five by Five" attached to the 104th (Timberwolf) Infantry Division. He fought in the "Battle of the Bulge" and on to liberate Dora-Mittelbau concentration camp in Germany.
