SGT Major McLeod served rom 1961 until 1990. He was involved in the Cuban Missile Crisis and served in the Vietnam War in a "Forced Recon" batallion (1968-69) where he earned the Purple Heart. He made many parachut jumps while on active duty and was known as "Wild Man McLeod".
