Teet, known for his down-to-earth attitude and his commitment to the Corps,
served with the 3rd Marine Division in the South Pacific during World War II.
As an accomplished and key supply sergeant, he participated in major
campaigns for Bougainville, the Solomon and Admiralty Islands, and Guam.
His skills and dedication were evident and tested during his participation in
the iconic battle for Iwo Jima.
