Don enlisted on June 5, 1950 at the age of 17, SKSN seaman Guard, and was assigned to the USS lowa (BB-61) "The Grey Ghost" in the 52 Division and saw service during Korea. Don continued his service to country by becoming a Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputy and Senior Weapons Instructor. He has a strong love and devotion to honesty and work ethics.
