Private First Class William Felling Sr. served as a Combat Infantryman with the 194th Glider Regimanet, 17th Airborne Division in multiple European campaigns. He was wounded in Belgium with shrapnel in the face. During the Battle of the Bulge he was treated for frozen feet.
