Michael bravely served our country with courage and pride. He brought that same dedication to teaching, coaching, and counseling his students.
He sacrificed for us long before we were born so we may have a better life. His strength, humor, and wonderful smile lives on in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Dad, you will be forever loved.
Upon arrival in the Pacific Theater, Michael was in combat as a
Mortarman Crewman. His unit assaulted and occupied Eniwetok
Atoll and the Marshall Islands. His unit reconnoitered Wotho,
Ujae and Lae Aolls.
