Respect and Honor for Your Service
Born in 1930, Robert developed a deep love for radio. As a teenager, he got his license and began making contacts across the world. One of his neighbors was an "On The Roof" radio man veteran who was working at the Imperial Beach Naval Receiving Facility. He enlisted in the Navy in 1951 and entered Communications School. He served on Guam monitoring Soviet and Chinese transmissions.
