Anthony served proudly and with distinction during World War I. His duty stations included: U.S. Naval Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, USS LST-350, U.S. Naval Hospital, Norfolk, VA and USS LST-816. He received an Honorable Discharge for his outstanding service.
