Master Sergeant Paul Jones served as a Flight Engineer with the 530th Bomb Squadron, 380th Bomb Group, flying in a B-24 Liberator named "Bad Ass". Shot down on a mission over the Kai Islands, he also participated in the New Guinea Campaign and Air Offensive Japan.
