MSG McDaniel went MIA ministering to wounded as 3rd BN, 8th Regiment, 1st Cavalry was overrun in North Korea. He was never found. Returned 27 July 2018 with military burial at Greenwood, IN 27 October 2018. World War Il Service comprised four years, deploying with the 83rd Infantry in Europe.
