Master Chief Cosme Renomeron began his career as a Steward, and then with his Mechanical Engineering Degree and training, transitioned to serve as a Machinist's Mate aboard USS STORMES (DD-780) and repair ships USS AJAX (AR-8) and USS JASON (AR-6). He was respnsible for the supervision of maintenance and repair of ships in the fleet. By doing so, he earned commendation letters from several of his Commanding Officers for his expert technical knowledge, devotion to duty, leadership, and hard work.
