Sharon began her Navy career as a Personnel Officer at NAS Whidbey Island, later serving in Washington, D.C., including roles as a White House staff writer and on the OPNAV staff. A Naval War College graduate, she directed CAAC at NAB Little Creek and the Family Service Center in Naples, Italy, with additional NATO duties.
