LCDR Williams served in various roles during the Global War on Terrorism including Search and Rescue Coordination, Law Enforcement, Advanced Boat Forces, Marine Environmental Response and Incident Management and Preparadness Operations.

LCDR Scott K. Williams served our Nation in the United States Coast Guard from 2003 through 2024.  Throughout LCDR Williams' service, he was responsible for saving countless lives and instrumental in the resolution of environmental disasters on United States shores.  Just a few examples of LCDR Williams' valiant service to America were his deployments to the MV Selendang Auy's grounding and oil spill off Alaska's Aleutian Islands and the Deepwater Horizon disaster in the Gulf of Mexico and his years-long service protecting lives in the Graveyard of the Pacific of the Northern Oregon coast.  Your family and your Country are grateful for your service.
