Robert was an Intelligence Officer with the 1st Division and a team Leader of Special Forces A-334 where he
was wounded by mortar fragments. He also served as the 5th Special Forces Group Political Warfare Officer,
graduated from Infantry Officers Candidate School , Officer's Advanced Infantry Course, Special Forces
Officers course and command and General Staff college.
