Chaplain Rolf served with the 362nd Infantry Regiment of the 91st Infantry Division. He particioate in the Rome-Arno, Po Valley, and Nortern Apennines campaigns in Italy. He continued to serve during the Korean War Era prior to leaving the srevice.
