Lt.Col. Cecil M. Rushing's service is honored in two wars, WWII and Korea.  He was a US Army officer serving in intelligence in WWII and transportation in Korea.  During WWII, he fought in the Pacific theater in New Guinea and the Philippines. During Korea, he was one of the officers that ran the railroad from Pusan to the front lines, providing material to the troops. He retired many years later from the ready reserves at Sandia Base in Albuquerque as a Lt.Col.
