Lance Corporal Donovan Davis, Crew Chief for a CH-53E ("TIGER 43") assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron-361, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, stationed at Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar, California.
Tragically the crew perished in the crash of this aircraft during training on the 7th of February 2024.
Donovan Davis, of Olathe, Kansas, enlisted in the Marine Corps on September 3, 2019 and was promoted to Lance Coporal on January 1, 2024. His decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and a Sea Service Deployment ribbon.
