Richard Clark voluntarily enlisted and proudly and honorably carried out each of his assignments including participation in Operation Starlight, the first major offensive of the Vietnam War. He proudly served from December 1963 to January 1967. Richard earned the Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Rifle Marksmanship Medal and Presidential Unit Citation Ribbon prior to his Honorable Discharge.
