Corporal Torres began his military journey at MCRD San Diego before training as an M-60 A1 Tank Crewman. He earned a Meritorious Mast while stationed at Guantanamo Bay for his exceptional attention to detail, flawless performance, and selfless dedication as part of the Barracks Color Guard. He completed his enlistment at Camp Pendleton before being recalled for Operation Desert Storm.
