MEDALS-RIBBONS: American Campaign, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign, World War II Victory
George proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as a plane captain with the Hellhawks on Oahu and later aboard USS Tulagi (CVE-72) during the landings on Iwo Jima and Okinawa. He also served aboard the USS Ticonderoga in the Pacific Theatre as an airplane mechanic in the VMF-213, "The Hellhawks", a Marine Fighter Squadron. He Served from 1943-1946. Service to God, Country, Family, and Community.
