Service Medal
Commander "Rick" White entered the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, earning a
spot in the commissioning program for the Navy Nurse Corps followed by DUINS.
After completing his Nurse Anesthetist Masters Program at Georgetown
University, he served in a forward-deployed platform during OEF/OIF on the USS
Boxer. CONUS duty included multiple tours at Naval Medical Center San Diego,
Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton and Naval Hospital Twenty-nine Palms
ultimately serving as the Head of Anesthesia prior to separation from
service and retirement.
