Commander McLeod served in World War II and the Korean War. Commander McLeod served as a Naval Aviator flying his A4D Skyhawk off the USS VALLEY FORGE (CVA-45) on combat missionsover Korea. Flying his Skyhawk off the USS SARATOGA (CVA-60). he participated in missions over Lebanon. CDR McLeod died as a Navy Test Pilot in May 1965.
