CDR Jaccard served 21 years as a Naval Aviator. After graduating from US Naval Academy 1965 he answered the call to establish the Navy's first helicopter attack squadron - the HA(L)-3 Seawolves - as a plank owner. He flew with valor in Vietnam earning the Distinguished Flying Cross. Jaccard served with distinction at many stations including abord the Coral Sea (CV-43) and Kitty Hawk (CV-63), and concluded career as Operations Officer at NAS North Island, San Diego. Humble service to god, country and family.
