As an Electrical and Crane Division Officer, Chief Aquino was responsible for ensuring the ship's electrical power generation systems, electrical equipment and appliances were working properly. He also, as a Chief, served as the Electrical and Crane Division Officer on the USS Arco (ARDM-5).
