Julius honorably served over 20 years. He was born in Oil City, Pa 3-29-1932. Enlisted in the Navy 11-15-1952 and graduated boot camp at Great Lakes,IL. First ship assigned to was USS Roosevelt-C.V.A 42, from March 1952-May 1954. Transferred to Com Nav Sur Pac June 1954-August 1957, served as RADM B.B Biggs personal driver for 1 year. Served on the USS Conserver (ARS-39), from October 1957-July 1962. Served on the USS Bolster (ARS-38) July 1962-July 1966. Received orders Navirsta, Lake Hurst, NJ July 1966-Sept 1968. Based in Hawaii for 12 years total and serving on the USS Jason (AR-81) July 1971- Sep 1973. Retiring Sep,27,1974, Chief Petty Officer (HT)
