World War II - Korea - Vietnam
Tim, also a test pilot who flew more than fifty types of aircraft, was a pioneer in the development of carrier-jet night/all-weather intercept operations logging more than 250 night landings. Rita served with the 78th Hospital Train in Europe as a surgical nurse, tending to combat wounded including those from the Battle of the Bulge.
