Captain Renninger earned an MS in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA. She managed the Naval Intelligence Command's IAIPS program and later directed computer systems for the Naval War College's Wargaming Department. As Commanding Officer of four Navy commands - including in inagural CO of Naval Computer and Telecommunications Statyion San Diego, she led in systems development and management.
