Captain Jack Casey, a Pilot for the CH-53E ("TIGER 43") was assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron-361, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, stationed at Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar, California.
Tragically the crew perished in the crash of this aircraft during training on the 7th of February 2024.
Jack Casey, of Dover, New Hampshire, was commissioned in the Marine Corps on May 16th, 2019 and was promoted to the rank of Captain on September 1, 2023. His decorations include the National Defense Service Medal.
