Captain Banjamin Mounton, a pilot for a CH-53E ("TIGER 43") assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron-361, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, stationed at Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar, California.
Tragically the crew perished in the crash of this aircraft during training on the 7th of February 2024.
Benjamin Moulton, of Emmett, Idaho, was commissined in the Marine Corps on March 29th 2019 and was promoted to the rank of Captain on August 1, 2023. His decorations include the National Defense Service Medal.
